Two big bows today!

We were very excited that we got to see Munchkin today. She is as beautiful as we remembered, but oh so much bigger! She had two gigantic blue bows in her hair. Those bows and her blue dress made her eyes shine bluer than we have seen before. Yes, she's a beauty. We spent a couple hours at the baby house, also getting to speak with the doctor. Munchkin continues to grow and develop well; she had a cold in October but no other concerns. That cold still seems to be hanging on as she had a sniffly nose and was quite congested today. It makes me feel sad that we can't bring her back to the hotel with us where we could dote on her every need to help her feel better.

Munchkin was pretty apprehensive when we arrived and remained somewhat shy throughout the morning. Of course, this is to be expected since it has been almost 4 months since we last saw her. Chad and I reminded ourselves that this is a good thing; it is much better for her to exhibit fear to strange people rather than to willingly go to just anyone. We made a new photo book with lots of pictures from our first trip; she really liked it, carrying it around for most of the morning. She showed us again what a curious girl she is, always trying to figure out how a toy (or camera or phone) works.

We will see her again on Wednesday. Tomorrow we have our medical appointments; 8 doctors over a 15-20 minute appointment. It is expected to be awkward, but at least quick!
