Court date!!!

I am so excited that my first post is to announce the assignment of our court date, Nov. 11th! 

Here's a play by play of the itinerary . . .
Nov. 5th:  Depart from home
Nov. 7th:  Arrive in Vlad
Nov. 8th:  Russian doc visits, should be interesting
Nov. 9th and 10th:  Visit Munchkin!!!!
Nov. 11th:  Court hearing
Nov. 12th:  Chad will return home; I'll start the 10 day waiting period.
Nov. 12th - 20th:  Wait, blog, study, visit Munchkin, write a few papers, revise some policies, puzzle, visit Munchkin, consider some yoga or sit ups
Nov. 21st:  Spring Munchkin from the baby house!
Nov. 22nd and 23rd:  More paperwork in Vlad; hope for quick recollection of parenting a toddler
Nov. 24th:  Me and Munchkin will meet up with Chad and Syd in Moscow; see if we can find some turkey and stuffing; do you think they have cranberry sauce in Russia?
Nov. 25th:  More paperwork; this time for the Embassy
Nov. 26th and 27th:  Be tourist-y, but don't smile.  I read that Russians think people who smile are "dim"; wish I would have read that before the first trip.  We'll also be checking out some American cattle that are currently residing in Russia.
Nov. 28th:  Embassy interview
Nov. 29th and 30th:  "Registration", whatever that means
Dec. 1st:  Yes, finally on our way home!

The main purpose for the blog is to keep everyone back home up to date while we're in Russia.  It will also keep me occupied as I hang in Vlad on my own during the waiting period.  I can't promise anything witty, but I'll try to keep you all informed.  As you have probably already noticed, I can sometimes get too detailed.
